I've done this before with my T3i and it worked.
Best to up load directly since some editors strip some of the metadata. View the efix info and the count should be there.
Try capturing a jpeg image and uploading it directly from your media to flickr. It will obtain the correct shutter count of your camera, similar to the service center's equipment. Or you can email the author to verify whether his application is compatible with the 70D.ĮOS Count is a third party app that was developed using Canon's Software Development Kit (SDK) and is a pay-per-use, service which requires Microsoft IE browsers and ActiveX. Short of sending your camera to the Canon service center, you might want to wait until the developer of the EOS Count web service announces that his application will work with the new 70D (and the 700D & 100D/SL1 for that matter). The EOSInfo software doesn't work on many newer EOS models since the old 40D. Does anyone have a suggestion on best way to get shutter count for the 70D? My old camera was a 40D and I used EOSInfo to find the shutter count.
